Start between the two yellow buoys after the signal. Round the orange mark to port: pass up its right side, around above it, and down its left side. Then cross the yellow line downwind to finish.
T / J changes tack or gybes. C holds 45° to the wind; D holds 155°. Arrow keys steer 5° and switch to manual heading. Space pauses. N resets.
Choose your start position before the race. The 60-second countdown zooms in on the line. Countdown speed defaults to 5× (a 12-second wait); choose 1× for a full minute. Start speed assist times your approach; turn it off to practise manually. Boats stop three metres below the line until the signal. Automatic trim handles sail angle; the sheet slider reduces speed for the start. Untick automatic trim to control the sail yourself.
On an oscillating day, compare your heading with the average. Red boat tracks show every decision. Dashed laylines rotate with the wind; ladder rungs show equal windward progress.
This is a simplified training model: tacks cost speed and nearby boats cast wind shadows. Contact with the mark stops your boat; steer clear to continue. Full racing rules, boat-to-boat collisions, currents and precise mark-room rules are not simulated.
